Speaker Nominations & Attendance Applications are now REOPENED!

We received applications from many of you who were gearing up for an early summer TEDx event.  But, for a variety of reasons need to postpone TEDx Madison.

We are dedicated to creating the most meaningful and impactful experience possible for our attendees. Just like the TED conferences you watch online, we want to create a day where you can come and hear great speakers in an intimate environment.  Most importantly, we want to connect attendees to important voices in our local Madison community for significant conversation and networking.  Pushing the date back a bit so that we can achieve that goal just made sense.

Soon, we will have more specific information, but in the meantime, we wanted to let everyone know that applications to attend the event are still open, as are speaker nominations.  We will consider all applications and nominations.

This community is filled with dedicated, passionate people who work tirelessly to make Madison the special place that it is. Please help us highlight that dedication and forward thinking by presenting us with some candidates which exemplify everything that makes this a wonderful community in which to live and work!

TEDx Madison Team

Coming in October

Tedx Madison will take place in autumn 2015.  We hope that this time frame will allow us to bring an even more exciting and informative conference to Madison.  We look forward to seeing you there and encourage you to apply to attend here.

About Tedx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx[name], where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx[name] event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
